Ingredients
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can green beans
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dried onions
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 ounces shredded cheese (your choice)
Instructions
  1. Drain the green beans and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Heat the heavy cream and cream cheese in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stir until the cream cheese is melted then whisk smooth.
  4. Add the soy sauce and dried onions and cook until thickened, stirring often.
  5. Stir in the green beans and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Spread the mixture in a small casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Preheat the broiler and broil until the cheese is melted and browned. Serve hot.
